As an Interior Designer in Dallas for more than twenty years, I have spent a lot of my time attending antique auctions and traveling to Europe on buying trips. My purchases included antique candlesticks, porcelain vases, architectural elements and unique, one of a kind fragments. Once the shipments arrived I loved creating beautiful lamps from my found treasures. I believe that great lighting can make or break a space, and even just one outstanding lamp can make a statement or be an interesting conversation piece. I find my inspiration in all aspects of design and art.Two years ago I saw an opportunity in the marketplace and decided to follow my passion by opening my own lighting studio. Whether I am creating a set of contemporary spherical geode lamps, or a sconce from an eighteenth century bronze doré cherub, I strive to showcase a sense of style and my personal taste resulting in timeless beauty.  Everyone deserves to be surrounded by beautiful and inspiring design that adds comfort, serenity and happiness to our favorite spaces. If I’m lucky enough to have a weekend at home, I enjoy gardening, spending time with family & friends, & of course my two dogs—Maggie and Max, & not necessarily in that order.

I am a native of Dallas, & have been an Interior Designer for over thirty years. Professionalism and a passion for design excellence are preceded only by my love of quality, luxury & style. Over the years I have gained a broad knowledge of business administration from actively serving in an executive capacity on the boards of four local nonprofits. I am creative, resourceful & very much a people person. I enjoy being part of a team, which is the vital element in the success of The Lamp Shoppe. I think it is so important to have fun and form friendships in the workplace. In the past I have enjoyed flying, skeet shooting, painting, riding, tennis, cooking & entertaining. Lately, my weekends are spent with my children, old friends, & my little Westie, Lily. Life is good!

I am a native of Dallas, and even married a native Dallasite, and my High School best friend, Daniel. I grew up assisting my mother, an Interior Designer. I attended school in France, where I developed a love of antiques and other beautiful things. With a background in retail sales and customer service with Chanel, I appreciate luxury goods and meeting new people. My personal life is full accompanying our 13 year old daughter, Grace, to crew meets and equestrian events.
